IAOMC is a non-profit, independent organization and represents the orthokeratology in the world.
IAOMC is a truly global organization which includes continental sections as America, Asia, Europe and Oceania. It represents the interests and serves the needs of orthokeratologists worldwide.
IAOMC is a milestone of orthokeratology, promoting this science to eye specialists (opticians, optometrists and ophthalmologists) and providing education in the field of corneal molding for refractive errors and the latest technology for myopia control.
IAOMC is a non-profit organization. Income derived from fees, congress and meeting profits are devoted to current activities, research and initiatives of interest to members.
IAOMC works to ensure member’s ability to facilitate access to orthokeratology and deliver the highest quality of care

Why
To promote the art of Orthokeratology (corneal reshaping, Ortho-K) throughout the world.
- To expand and advance Ortho-K education and reserach in both established settings and emerging markets around the world
- To reach out to the communities of Ophtalmology, Optometry and Opticianry to come together and build a safe and efficacious environment wherever Ortho-K is practiced
- Promote for the public benefit the professional competence and conduct of IAO members
- Promote Myopia Control and its many benefits by developing advanced contact lens designs and other technologies that will enhance that benefit
- Function as a scientific reference for health organizations and the worl community
